Riverfield Family Association

All parents and staff are members of the Riverfield Family Association (RFA), which encourages family participation and promotes educational programs, financial welfare, and service to the school community.  Through RFA, each student’s education is enhanced by parent involvement.

The RFA sponsors many fun fundraisers during the year that support programming and keep tuition at a more affordable level.  These fundraisers supplement our resources to purchase items not covered by tuition income.  The RFA funds provide computers, library books, facility enhancements, and much more.  RFA contributes over $150,000 annually to the operating budget through events such as:

Sleepovers and Friday Nights Out

  • Sleepovers and Friday Nights Out, allow parents a night out with the security of knowing their children are safe at school with familiar friends and teachers.

Run For Riverfield

  • Run for Riverfield is our fall fundraiser that concludes with a Jog-a-Thon for all students that will take place on Friday, September 30th, 2016.

Annual Auction

  • The Sapphire Celebration Annual Auction is the RFA's school-wide event held each spring that includes dinner, entertainment, and live, silent, and online auction components. The Auction Committee is open to any family members interested in assisting with this large-scale fundraiser. The Sapphire Celebration Auction date and location will be set soon.

There are several outside programs endorsed by the RFA as ways to support the school.  They include:

  • Box Tops 4 Education – A long-standing program, Box Tops are an easy way to help Riverfield.  Families are encouraged to clip the Box Tops logo seen on many household products and drop them off at the school.  RFA volunteers will organize and send off collected Box Tops, which will translate into money for the school.  Each Box Top is worth 10 cents. Other chances for earning bonus box tops are available

  • Mabel’s Labels – Dishwasher and washing machine safe, these personalized labels are perfect for keeping track of items brought to school.  A portion of each sale (20%) comes back to Riverfield.  Visit to order.

  • Simply sign up for Amazon Smile and select Riverfield Country Day School! It’s just that simple and every time you make a purchase through, they will donate .5% to our school!  This is such an easy way to support Riverfield.

  • If you have children ages Infant-8 years, check out the Pediped line of shoes.  Pediped shoes were among the first children’s footwear to be awarded the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance for promoting healthy foot development.  Shopping Pedipeds is an easy way to support RCDS; by visiting and our code:SCHEXVP, Pedipeds will donate 10% of purchases using this code to RCDS.
