November 17 2006, Red Dirt Rangers Concert Part of Centennial Kick-Off. Oklahoma's own Red Dirt Rangers performed at Riverfield's Visiting Day, November 17. We are thrilled to have the group on campus and to be able to include our event with them as part of the Oklahoma Centennial Kick-Off in Tulsa. Riverfield gratefully acknowledges the Oklahoma Arts Council for the generous grant that helped to make the Red Dirt Rangers' visit and performance possible.

October 23, 2006, Wildflower Grant Awarded. A group of Mrs. O'Halloran's 4th and 5th grade science students watched a crew from the OK Department of Transportation plant eight varieties of native wildflowers that were part of Riverfield's successful Color Oklahoma grant application. The site is at the 61st Street exit southbound on Highway 74. In all, the group estimate there were well over 16 million seeds planted on the slop...Many of them annuals and perennials to provide a vibrant palette of color of all travelling along Highway 75.

October 2006, Donation Brings Riverfield Land to 120 Acres. Thanks to a generous gift from Mrs. Genavave Rogers, an additional tract of land has been added to Riverfield's acreage. The contract on the 30 acre plot, located west of the main entrance, was finalized in October. This brings Riverfield's campus to 120 total acres--an outstanding number that is indicative of the growth at our school.
