2012 Camp Info

"Hello there! Camp Raven is greaing up for another great summer at Riverfield Country Day School. In my second summer as Camp Director, I am excited to help facilitate a summer filled of assorted camps with diverse topics taughted by skilled counselors who create an atmosphere of fun and learning. We will once again be utilizing our beautiful campus to make life-long memories. I look forward to seeing you this summer!"

Riverfield has options for Pre-School through 12th grade campers from May 22nd-August 10, 2012.

Join us on our 120-acre wooded campus complete with gym, barnyard, splash pad, hiking trails, and picnic areas. For incoming 1st - 12th grade campers, Camp Raven features hiking, cooking, story-telling, paintballing, art, song writing, river rafting, bridge-building, fashion design, improvisation, music, basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, and more! There are also field trips, picnics, and sleepovers, as well as some camp-wide family events like a Drillers game night and family movie night.

Raven's Nest (for 11 months - 4 years old) and Raven's Roost (for incoming Kindergartners) are separate summer-long programs filled with fun, dramatic play, music and movement, science experiments, field trips for older students, games, water play, and cooking.

A volunteer CIT program is available for students going into the 8th-12th grade. CIT applications are due by May 4th.

Below are the brochures for Camp Raven (1st-12th), Raven's Roost (Kindergarten), and Raven's Nest (Pre-School), which give descriptions of all the camps for 2012. Summer enrollment for families not currently at Riverfield will open March 1st. At that time, the enrollment and registration forms will be added to this website.
