Fundraising Fills the Gap between Tuition and Operating Expenses

Tuition covers many of the costs of running and maintaining our 120-acre campus. However, there are many additional expenses that we rely on fundraising, especially the annual Raven Fund, to cover, bridging the gap between money raised by tuition and the annual budget. With the completion of our new building will come increased operational expenses. We are so grateful for all our supporters whose generosity fills the gap.

Tulsa Community Foundation Challenge Grant

We are thrilled to announce an incredible giving opportunity! In partnership with Tulsa Community Foundation, new planned gifts made to Riverfield will help us meet the challenge. To learn more about qualifying gifts and how to join us in this challenge, contact Director of Giving Clint Rataczak to arrange a complimentary meeting with our planned giving experts. The Raven Fund directly supports the school’s operational needs for the current academic year, offering immediate budgetary relief. While tuition covers the majority of expenses, it does not cover everything. Contributions to the Raven Fund are separate from RFA fundraising events such as the Run for Riverfield and Sapphire Celebration.

The iNSPiRED Campaign, our most recent capital initiative, successfully funded the new Center for Creativity and the expansion of Clark Gymnasium - both of which became fully operational during the 2023-24 school year. Each year, we undertake capital projects aimed at enhancing our campus. To learn more about current priorities, please contact Head of School Jerry Bates or Director of Giving Clint Rataczak.

The Riverfield Family Association supports the school through events such as the Run for Riverfield and Sapphire Celebration. Funds raised from these events are distributed the following school year and support key areas including financial aid, the operating fund, and special projects.

Ways to Give

Riverfield accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Gifts to the Raven Fund and capital projects can be set up on a recurring basis or as a one-time gift.
Make checks payable to Riverfield Country Day School with a notation of the gift’s purpose, ie. Raven Fund, capital, etc.
Donations of this nature are an alternative to cash gifts. Donors avoid capital gains tax on the increased value and receive a deduction for the full market value on the date of the contribution. Consult your financial advisor regarding the impact on your taxes and contact Director of Giving Clint Rataczak
Make your pledge online, either by a single gift or through recurring payments.
Support Riverfield through purchases with partners including Box Tops for Education, Casey's, Mabel’s Labels, Office Depot, and Shop Raise, as well as through monthly Riverfield Night events.
Gifts of goods and services that support our programs and facilities are always welcome. Tax deductions are possible to the extent allowable by law.
Special gifts can be made to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries; to pay tribute to teachers; and to honor the memory of family and friends. Birthday messages on the entrance signs can be purchased for $40 by emailing [email protected]
These gifts can have a significant impact on Riverfield's future. Click here for more information on planned giving options.
Gifts to financial aid support Riverfield's belief that all children should have access to education that ignites adventure, inspires inquiry, and builds excellence. Click here to give. Please select Financial Aid to designate your gift.

Additionally, donors may consider giving to the Opportunity Scholarship Fund to provide support for Riverfield students and families.
