All parents and guardians of students, and staff, are members of the Riverfield Family Association (RFA), which encourages family participation and promotes educational programs, financial welfare, and service to the school community.  Through the RFA, each student’s education is enhanced by parent and family involvement.

The RFA is governed by a board of elected positions, filled by Riverfield family members. All RFA meetings are open to all members to attend. Committees and groups of RFA volunteers are formed throughout the year to facilitate the Run for Riverfield, Sapphire Celebration, and Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. RFA volunteers step up when additional support is needed throughout the campus and their service to the school helps build our culture of community.

RFA meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month, september-May, at 8:30am on campus.

The RFA sponsors fundraisers during the year that support programming and keep tuition at a more affordable level and to help fill the gap in operations costs that are not covered by tuition. RFA contributes over $150,000 annually to the operating budget through events such as:

Run for Riverfield

Held in the fall, the Run for Riverfield engages students of all ages as they gather pledges and take part in a day of celebratory activities that conclude a week of fundraising.

Sapphire Celebration

The Sapphire Celebration is the RFA's annual large-scale fundraiser held each spring, featuring dinner, entertainment, and auction elements. The planning committee welcomes all volunteers interested in helping bring this event to life.
