RFA rescheduled OkPCTC presentation with Jerry Bates
RFA will host an informational OkPCTC meeting on January 20, 2025 at 6pm. The application for the 2025-2026 Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit (OkPCTC) opens on February 18, 2025 at 9am. This application will be for the 2025-2026 School Year (August 2025-May 2026).

Two student-led opportunities to give back
The Lower School 2nd/3rd Grades are hosting a Share the Warmth Blanket Drive for Tulsa Day Center this week! Please bring new or gently-used, clean blankets to the donation box outside the Meadow Class. Blankets will be donated to the Tulsa Day Center on January 20!
The Upper School Family Wellness Service Group invites you to make a difference by dropping off your gently used clothing and toys to benefit infants and toddlers in need at Emergency Infant Services. Donations may be dropped off at the Lower School entrances through the month of January.

Student Spotlights!
Writing for Change
Sophomore Ian Gilliland applied to serve on the Tulsa World Youth Advisory Board to gain valuable leadership and writing experiences. On January 9, his Op-Ed ran in the paper and is available to Tulsa World subscribers. With an interest in law and politics, Ian is passionate about informing people on issues that impact them. Melissa Gilliland is proud of her son pursuing ways to make the world a better place. "Envisioning Ian as a leader of tomorrow gives us hope that the future is bright in the hands of the next generation," she said. Click the image to read Ian's op-ed.
Writing for Expression
Scout McKay, 5th grade, has been honing her writing and poetry skills in and out of the classroom. With a goal to be published, Scout submitted her works to several online competitions. Her poem, The Butterfly, was selected to be published in the 2024 Anthology Book from Creative Communication! The Creative Communication organization is devoted to the promotion of writing, teaching, and appreciation of student writing. Congratulations, Scout!
