From Regionals to STate Champions!
For the first time in school history, the Lady Ravens are State Champions! Congratulations to Varsity Girls Tennis team and Coach Clark on the first ever team State Championship, bringing home the title this weekend! Individually, these incredible athletes have a lot to be proud of too. Lily Clark finished the season 31-0 and earn her 2nd State title at #1 Singles; Zoe Jackson finished 2nd at #2 Singles; Nicya Moore and Katie Smith made two epic comebacks and finished 6th; and Sophia Diaz and Emily Kiker finished 4th at #2 Doubles! Way to go Lady Ravens! Today, Varisty Boys Tennis will play Regionals at Heritage Hall and will travel to the State tournament this coming weekend.
Tonight! Come Cheer on Middle School soccer!
At 5pm, our Middle School Soccer team will take on St. Mary's at the Bishop Kelly stadium. A win tonight will secure first place in the league for Middle School Soccer. Show up and support these incredible athletes!

The Class of 2025 kicked off the school year with a clear message to the entire 2024-25 Riverfield student body:

We are so proud of the 2025 Class and cannot wait to celebrate each of them at the Commencement Ceremony.
Middle school film submitted to Cannes Short Film Festival!
Middle School Film Lab students challenged themselves to make five minute short films to qualify their films for the All American High School Film Festival. The comedy, My Spaghetti, written and directed by Luke Hagedorn, Evelyn Johnson, Cora Vandy, and Aniston Hill, was showcased alongside all of the Middle School short films at Spring Expo in the Smolen Black Box Theatre on May 2. With a royalty-free soundtrack, a clear premise from the start, and jokes made with visual storytelling rather than dialogue, My Spaghetti was also submitted to the Cannes Short Film Festival and the Nashville Film Festival! “My Spaghetti is nearly perfect in all aspects of what you look for in a middle school short film,” said Film Lab teacher Jake Redmond.
Field Day lived up to the hype as the best day ever!
Thank you to all of our Lower School teachers and staff who helped to make this year's Field Day one for the history books! The weather couldn't have been more perfect for our LS students to celebrate each other and all of their hard work this year. Thanks to Coach Chesher for organizing all of the fun!

Riverfield celebrated the retirement of Jennifer Nation last Thursday. Jennifer joined the RCDS family in 2006 and has served our community in various capacities throughout the years. We are so grateful for you "JnA!" Mrs. Nation will start her retirement on June 1 so you still have time to send her well wishes!
2025-26 Riverfield Family Association Board
RFA called for nominations to fill seats on the 2025-26 Board. Each position garnered one nomination eliminating the need for a school-wide election. There is still an opening for the Recording Officer, a great position to learn all of the ins and outs of RFA! Email [email protected] if you are interested in serving on the board or in one of these appointed positions; Volunteer Coordinator, Family Representative Coordinator, and Staff Appreication Coordinator.
